Sophie Miller-Molloy is an associate in the Employment practice of the London office. She joined Mayer Brown in 2018 as a trainee and qualified into the group in September 2020, having spent time in a range of contentious and transactional seats, including an international secondment to the Banking & Finance practice in Frankfurt and a seat in insurance litigation defending a high profile professional negligence claim against administrators.
Since joining the Employment practice, Sophie has gained a range of employment experience in both contentious, transactional and advisory matters.
On the contentious side, this has involved acting for employers in High Court, Employment Tribunal and County Court claims involving a broad range of issues, including discrimination, breach of contract and breach of restrictive covenants. In terms of advisory work, Sophie’s experience includes advising on global employment issues and projects, employee handbooks and policy reviews, and drafting employment, consultancy and settlement agreements. She has also contributed to several global employment practice guides relating to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Sophie’s experience in corporate and transactional matters includes working on multi-jurisdictional projects, TUPE transactions and administration transactions.
