Veronica Glick is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Washington, DC office and a member of the firm’s National Security and Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practices. She is also a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice and Congressional Investigations & Crisis Management team. Veronica focuses her practice on complex and cutting-edge legal issues regarding national security, cybersecurity and international law, with particular experience responding to multijurisdictional cyber incidents.
Veronica served on a pro bono basis as Deputy Chief Counsel for Cybersecurity and National Security to the US Cyberspace Solarium Commission, a bipartisan commission established by Congress to develop a comprehensive strategy to defend the US from significant attacks in cyberspace. Veronica currently serves as a member of the United Nations Experts Committee countering terrorism through information and communications technologies (ICT), including with regard to prevention of exploitation of ICT and initiatives to facilitate sharing of digital evidence. Veronica is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and she is the co-chair of the firm's DC Women's Forum.
Veronica was recently named among “Five Fresh Faces to Know in Privacy and Cybersecurity” as part of Bloomberg Law’s “They’ve Got Next” series, which spotlights lawyers who are “raising the bar” in their field.
Veronica received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, a John Paul Stevens Fellow, recipient of the Parker School Recognition of Achievement in International and Comparative Law, and a member of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. She received an LL.B. from the London School of Economics. Veronica is member of the Bar of the State of New York and of the District of Columbia.
