Edmund Bentsi-Enchill is an associate in the Construction & Engineering practice of Mayer Brown’s London office. His experience includes advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters spanning the lifecycle of construction projects.
He has worked closely with clients operating in Europe and the Middle East on projects including refineries, car factories, and offshore wind farms. He has considerable experience in advising on standard form contracts such as JCT, FIDIC and IChemE. He has also worked on a variety of bespoke contracts relating to residential developments, joint venture agreements, and offshore engineering projects.
His contentious construction experience includes advising contractors on issues such as termination for convenience, defective cladding, and valuing variations of contracts. He has a broad range of dispute resolution experience, including arbitrations, mediations and hearings at the Court of Appeal and High Court.
Edmund joined Mayer Brown as an associate in 2019 after completing his training contract at HFW. His training contract included seats in Construction, Commodities, Shipping and Insurance in London and Dubai.
