Anastasia Kaup of Mayer Brown named to National LGBT Bar Association’s list of “Best 40 LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40”
Mayer Brown announced that Banking & Finance associate Anastasia Kaup (Chicago) was selected as a 2020 “Best 40 LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40” honoree by the National LGBT Bar Association. The annual recognition honors LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality.
Ms. Kaup serves in multiple leadership positions within Mayer Brown’s Chicago office and gives back through involvement in community organizations and her active pro bono practice. As a member of the firm’s Banking & Finance practice, Ms. Kaup structures, negotiates and documents complex financing transactions domestically and internationally, at all levels of the capital structure, with a specific focus on fund finance and financing in distressed situations.
The National LGBT Bar Association aims to promote justice in and through the legal profession for the LGBTQ+ community in all its diversity.
