Ella regularly advises some of the most prolific issuers and placement agents on structuring, negotiating, and executing CRE CLO transactions, bringing particular depth to collateral risk assessment and disclosure strategies, and provides ongoing advice to collateral managers and special servicers related to modifications on performing and non-performing collateral interests. She also represents both borrowers and lenders in connection with commercial mortgage loan warehouse and repurchase facilities. In addition, Ella represents financial institutions and funds in connection with CMBS (including SASB) securitizations, risk retention financings, bulk mortgage loan sales and purchases, as well as bespoke structured financings.
In addition to her CRE practice, Ella also brings experience advising on emerging and alternative securitizations such as CPACE and tax increment financing transactions. She also represents sellers and purchasers in secondary market high-yield debt trading on LSTA documentation.
