Alexandre specializes in construction with a focus on energy and infrastructure projects, and will further strengthen Tauil & Chequer Advogados’ capabilities in these industries. He joins from Mattos Filho.

Alexandre brings over 20 years of experience, having worked at renowned law firms in Brazil and abroad, leading numerous projects in the energy, oil and gas, shipbuilding, logistics (i.e., airports, railways, ports, highways, and urban mobility), steelmaking, mining, and sanitation sectors.

Alexandre has also built a robust academic career. He has served as a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He currently coordinates postgraduate courses at the University of São Paulo and is the author of well-regarded legal publications frequently cited by courts and regulators.
