TSI Annual Congress 2012

As in previous years, many representatives of the German ABS industry and politics, as well as academics working in this field will be meeting at the TSI Congress 2012 to exchange professional views and experience.

In addition to regulatory matters, which are always examined from the perspective of consequences for banks' business models and lending policy and the associated corporate finance, the programme includes the concomitant criteria for the technical implementation of these regulatory plans, which will have to be met by financial institutions and originators as well as by investors in securitisation. Other topic areas at the TSI Congress 2012 include asset based finance strategies for SMEs, the performance of and opportunities provided by the German securitisation and lending markets and the specific wishes of international investors and the business world. The congress will also feature an investor stream in English language with selected topics for investors.

It would be our pleasure to meet you on the occasion of this congress either at our booth on the ground floor or at one of the workshops, which partners of Mayer Brown's German finance practice will moderate:

  • Dr. Ralf Hesdahl, moderator at the workshop on "Zwischen Kredit- und Kapitalmarkt – die Zukunft der deutschen Mittelstandsfinanzierung – Asset Based Finance-Strategien" on September 20, at 11:45 a.m.
  • Andreas Lange, moderator at the workshop about "Verbriefung von Leasing- und Handelsforderungen – eine Alternative zum Bankkredit", on September 20 at 14:15 p.m., and
  • Dr. Jörg Wulfken speaker at the workshop "Status der europäischen und deutschen Bankenrestrukturierungsregulierungen und die Rolle der EBA und FMSA", on September 21 at 11:00 a.m.
