The Age of Disruption | How Emerging Technologies and Cybersecurity Are Transforming Sourcing

Emerging technologies—such as social, mobile, analytics, cloud, robotic process automation and the Internet of Things—continue to disrupt traditional approaches to sourcing. Coupled with the rise of cybersecurity considerations on a regional and global scale, these disruptive technologies will continue to drive unprecedented transformation in sourcing. Please join lawyers from Mayer Brown’s Business & Technology Sourcing practice in the United States, Europe and Asia for an interactive forum addressing opportunities and risks as we navigate the age of disruption.

As this is our 10th annual program, we are pleased to be able to present a special, keynote presentation on cybersecurity from Raj De, who was the General Counsel of the United States National Security Agency from 2012 to 2015 and now is a partner at Mayer Brown. We will then have a series of presentations, panels and roundtable discussions covering the challenges and opportunities for sourcing counsel.

Key topics that we will discuss include:

  • Recent developments in global data transfer;
  • Contracting for digital age services and technologies;
  • Sourcing automated services; and
  • Integrating disruptive technologies in existing supplier contracts.

New this year, we are pleased to also include peer-to-peer small group discussions covering topics selected by our attendees.

CLE is not available when listening to a recording of this program. In order to receive credit you must have attended the live Seminar program.
