Tauil & Chequer advises Rolls-Royce on offshore drilling supply agreement

Tauil & Chequer advised Rolls-Royce on an approximately US $163 million agreement to supply propulsion engines and systems for seven offshore drilling vessels to be built for Sete Brasil at the Estaleiro Atlântico Sul shipyard. The team was led by Tax Transactions & Consulting partner Ivan Tauil and Corporate & Securities partner Salim Saud Neto (both Rio de Janeiro) and included: Tax Transactions & Consulting – partner Roberta Caneca (São Paulo); and Corporate & Securities – associates Bruno Belchior and Anne Prudêncio (both Rio de Janeiro).
