Business Support Services Portfolio Management: Creating Value and Efficiency

Business Support Services Portfolio Management: Creating Value and Efficiency
November 12, 2012 – Webinar

Organizations are continuing to leverage and institutionalize outsourcing as part of their service delivery model, especially in delivery of business support services. However, there is an emerging level of complexity to be managed as organizations consider their portfolios of outsourcing arrangements.

As organizations step back from the individual function / service view of a given outsourcing relationship and consider the breadth and depth of outsourcing deployed across their service delivery model, many are starting to look hard at improving the combined value of the portfolio and its alignment to the business strategy. These outsourcing relationships are commonly established over a period of time. They may or may not have consistent terms or the right terms for their scope. Governance and oversight provisions that fit individual contracts well may be inefficient when managing a portfolio of outsourcing arrangements. The question remains how do organizations drive value from the sum of the parts as a portfolio?

KPMG & Mayer Brown presenter Brad Peterson will share an approach to reviewing your outsourcing portfolio and driving closer alignment to the overall business strategy. Together they will share insights and practical tips on how to establish, realign and govern your outsourcing portfolio, either on a functional or enterprise level.
