What’s Important in the SEC’s New Enforcement Manual

20 October 2008 - On October 6, 2008, the Securities and Exchange Commission published on its website its new ‘‘Enforcement Manual.’’ For decades the SEC’s Enforcement Division had policies and procedures that were partially covered in an internal manual (its so-called "Red Book") and other internal publications.
