Mayer Brown Article

Mayer Brown’s São Paulo office has become a member of the Pro Bono Institute of Brazil’s Pro Bono Project, which seeks to match volunteer attorneys with non-profit organizations of limited resources that are in need of legal assistance.  The Pro Bono Institute of Brazil was founded eight years ago with a mission to increase access to justice for the poor and disadvantaged by educating the legal community on the importance of pro bono work and strengthening the pro bono culture in Brazil.  The São Paulo office will focus its pro bono work on non-profit organizations in need of legal assistance with foreign law matters.
