Mayer Brown Article
Mayer Brown has launched a pro bono effort to assist Iraqi refugees through the non-profit organization, "The List Project to Help Resettle Iraqi Allies" (, which was profiled on 60 Minutes in May.  The organization, working with Mayer Brown and the law firms of Holland & Knight and Proskauer Rose, is seeking to resettle in the United States those Iraqi refugees who have been targeted by the insurgency because of their assistance with the U.S. military and reconstruction effort in Iraq.  Over 50 attorneys in all of Mayer Brown's U.S. offices are participating in this effort, and The List Project has funded a paralegal position to help manage the firm's caseload.
