China Antitrust Moves Up a Gear

In recent days, there have been three significant new developments relating to China's antitrust regime - a 9th conditional clearance merger review decision, the announcement of an historic abuse of dominance investigation against two state owned enterprises in China, and the largest AML fine imposed to date. These developments are significant, as they suggest the relevant Chinese authorities are taking AML-enforcement 'up a gear'.
