Practical Advice Regarding Anti-corruption Investigations and Recent Actions by Regulators that Impact the Hotel, Property Management and Real Estate Investment Industries

In light of the increasingly aggressive enforcement activities of Chinese regulatory authorities, it is important to understand how these impact the real estate and hospitality and leisure industries.

Two of our firm’s senior litigation partners from the U.S., Bill Michael and Larry Urgenson, will be in town to speak at this seminar together with Hong Kong partner Richard Tollan to provide practical, hands-on advice concerning how to minimise the risks to companies facing investigation, and how best to address investigations when they occur in order to protect the company and its employees in a cost-effective manner:

  • Understanding US, UK and Chinese regulatory authorities
  • How to plan and prepare for meetings with regulators
  • Specific issues relating to investigations of the hotel, property management, real estate investment industries
  • Creating credible parameters around investigations to limit investigative costs and potential exposure
