In this episode Nick reviews three cases dealing with various points of employment law. The first looks at whether an employer can defend a constructive dismissal claim by pointing out that the employee himself was in breach of contract. It also considers whether an employer is entitled to rely on explicit e-mails sent in breach of the company's e-mail policy on the company's email. The second case considers whether an individual can rely on British employment law where he worked 49% of his time in the UK. The final case decides whether an HR consultant had inadvertently agreed to contractual pay rise for a group of employees following a grievance.
