Xiyin Tang is an Intellectual Property associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office. She focuses her practice on copyright litigation and other complex intellectual property matters. She has substantial experience representing media, technology, and entertainment companies, with a focus on digital music and licensing. She has written substantially on evolving trademark and copyright laws and how they intersect with new technologies. Xiyin also teaches a seminar at Yale University on intellectual property in the digital age.
Prior to law school, Xiyin was Global Editor at the new media startup Refinery29.com, and a writer for New York Magazine.
