Robert G. Pluta is counsel in Mayer Brown's Chicago office and is a member of the Intellectual Property practice. He concentrates his practice in the areas of patent litigation, strategy, and clearance.
Robert is a trial lawyer with over 10 years of experience trying and litigating patent cases in district courts and the International Trade Commission. He is experienced in a vast array of technologies, including mobile devices, semiconductors, LCD panels, telecommunications, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Robert served as senior intellectual property counsel at Motorola Mobility LLC, a subsidiary of Google Inc., where he directed litigation strategy for several high-profile cases in district courts and the ITC. He also collaborated with engineers and business partners to ensure freedom of operation, and negotiated and drafted license and settlement agreements.
