Peter Boothby is an associate in the Washington, DC office of Mayer Brown’s Corporate & Securities and Technology Transactions practices. He concentrates his practice on advising clients in connection with complex outsourcing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, compliance with the federal securities laws and corporate governance issues.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2012, Peter was legal counsel at LightSquared, a mobile communications company building a new 4G-LTE wireless broadband network. While at LightSquared, Peter worked closely with business clients and in-house counsel on a wide range of corporate and outsourcing transactions, including the company’s acquisition and take private by Harbinger Capital Partners and a landmark $13.5 billion spectrum hosting and network services agreement with Sprint Nextel. During law school, Peter externed at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement.
