Michelle is a Tax Controversy associate in Mayer Brown’s Houston office. Since joining the firm, Michelle has represented clients in many types of tax disputes with taxing authorities on federal and state levels. Michelle’s tax controversy experience spans a wide range of areas including international withholdings, transfer pricing controversies, and “tax shelter” disallowances. Michelle also advises foreign and domestic entities seeking corporate and tax advice in connection with various types of foreign and domestic transactions, including 1031 exchanges.
