Markus Brusch is a senior associate in the Frankfurt office of Mayer Brown’s Banking & Finance practice. He focuses on the advice of clients in connection with the issue of retail structured products (certificates, warrants and other structured notes), German covered bonds (Pfandbriefe) and the establishment and update of Debt Issuance/Euro Medium Term Note/Structured Products Programmes. He also advises on documentation of Master Agreements for OTC-derivatives and Schuldschein-transactions under German law and regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2014, Markus worked for another leading international law firm and was on a secondment with a leading global bank in Frankfurt in the area of corporate and investment banking. He is a Certified Banking and Capital Markets Lawyer and is experienced in the representation of credit institutions and securities service providers in civil proceedings at German courts.
