Lívia Seabra V. de Lima is an associate in the Rio de Janeiro office of Tauil & Chequer Advogados’ Corporate and M&A practice. Lívia focuses her practice on advising domestic and foreign companies in the analysis, drafting and negotiation of agreements related to the oil and gas industry in Brazil and West Africa, including concession contracts, production sharing agreements, consortium agreements, joint operating agreements (JOA), joint bidding agreements (JBA), farm-out agreements, assignment agreements, unitization agreements and unitization operating agreements (UOA).
Lívia advises E&P and service companies in: (i) regulatory issues before the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels – ANP; (ii) bid Rounds promoted by ANP; (iii) due diligences related to M&A and farm-out/farm-in transactions; and (iv) general corporate matters. Lívia also has experience in legal due diligences processes in the analysis of insurance, corporate, contractual and regulatory aspects of oil and gas and other companies.
Lívia was hired as a lawyer after two years as Law Clerk in the Vitória office of Tauil & Chequer Advogados associated to Mayer Brown LLP, working previously as law clerk at Vello de Magalhães Advocacia e Consultoria on 2012, law firm specialized in civil litigation.
