Lindsay Brown is an associate in Mayer Brown's Technology Transactions and Corporate & Securities practices. He focuses his practice on technology and business process outsourcing, traditional and emerging technologies transactions, and data privacy and security. In 2016, Lindsay spent six months working in-house for one of Mayer Brown’s major clients. He advised the business with respect to services agreements for mergers and acquisitions and divestitures; drafted agreements related to procurement; and assisted in the out-of-court disposition of claims for and against the company.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown’s Chicago office, Lindsay played French horn professionally in symphony and opera orchestras, and he has appeared with such renowned ensembles as the Tanglewood Festival Orchestra, the San Jose Opera, and the San Francisco Symphony. He holds an undergraduate degree in music from the University of Minnesota and a graduate degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Lindsay presently performs throughout Chicagoland: he plays principal horn for the Lakeview Orchestra and has appeared with the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra.
Lindsay was formerly a noncommissioned officer in the United States Army. He served from 2003 until 2008.
