Jonathan Kim, Ph.D., is counsel in the Intellectual Property practice whose focus is on patent management, counseling and litigation involving pharmaceutical drug products. He has assisted in Hatch-Waxman Act patent litigation and investigations involving the Federal Trade Commission. He has also assisted on patent portfolio matters, such as patent prosecution, management and strategy.
Jonathan also has experience in trademark prosecution. He has advised clients on opinions regarding trademark procurement and protection. He also has experience in due diligence involving intellectual property asset purchase and licensing agreements.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2008, Jonathan worked in the medical device industry in product development and remediation. In particular, he has industry experience in both FDA and international regulations governing product clearance/approval and product life cycle management.
