Jonathan Dack is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice of the London office. Jonathan has experience with a broad range of IP, IT and general commercial matters.
Jonathan specialises in IP transactions and has advised clients from a range of industries, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services and media. He has extensive experience in the life sciences sector, advising on patent and know-how licensing, research and development agreements, strategic alliances, collaborations, spin-outs and manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements.
Jonathan also advises a number of multinational corporations on a wide variety of IT, outsourcing and e-commerce issues. He has expertise relating to software development and integration projects (with a specific focus on FinTech), and software licensing arrangements. Jonathan also represents clients on large scale IT outsourcing projects, system procurement projects, business process outsourcing and facilities management arrangements.
In the data protection space, Jonathan advises regularly on large global data transfer projects, internal information governance and accountability structures, and data protection risk management. He has also guided a leading construction enterprise through the application process for binding corporate rules.
Jonathan has spent time on secondment at a global pharmaceutical company.
