Isabella Mendonça is an associate in the Corporate & Securities practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in the Rio de Janeiro office. Isabella has experience in analyzing and preparing corporate documents and contracts, as well as shareholders agreements, commercial agreements, asset finance projects and legal due diligences processes. Isabella focuses on representing clients in the Brazilian power industry regarding regulatory, contractual and corporate matters, including assistance in (i) drafting and negotiating project contracts; (ii) administrative proceedings and representation with government and regulatory entities (MME, ANEEL, ONS, EPE, CCEE and State agencies); (iii) mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs; and (iv) project finance. Isabella also works on other infrastructure projects, particularly in the oil & gas industry, in Brazil and abroad.
Isabella joined the firm in 2016. Previously, Isabella worked at Basch & Rameh Advogados Associados as an intern, 2012-2013, and as an associate, 2013-2014, where she worked with corporate matters, particularly in the oil & gas and aviation industries. In 2014, Isabella joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she worked with judicial recovery and represented high profile clients in complex high-stakes cases such as OGX, OSX, Eneva, Sete Brasil, among others.
