Graham is a partner in the Banking & Finance practice of the London office. He is a highly respected banking lawyer with over 25 years of experience in the profession. His background is as a transactional banking and structured finance lawyer with a particular focus on asset-based lending (ABL). He is recommended by Legal 500 2015 (and noted as being "superb" in the 2016 edition).
Over the years, Graham has worked on many acquisition finance deals for banks, sponsors and management and in relation to the acquisition of private and public companies. His career has also covered project financings, trade finance and the development of insurance-related banking products as well as numerous restructurings and refinancings. Graham helped to pioneer ABL when it was first introduced to mainstream European transactions in the mid-1990's and is considered to be one of the leading lawyers in the industry, particularly in relation to complex cross border transactions involving the US and Europe.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2009, Graham practised with another leading international law firm. He is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish.
