Flávio Sotelo is an International Consultant of the Corporate and M&A, International Tax, International Trade and Africa practices of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in the Rio de Janeiro.
Flávio is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, and is a PHD student and Master of Laws (LLM) by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain and graduated from Universidade FUMEC. Flávio advises clients throughout the world and especially in Africa (Mozambique, Angola, Malawi, South Africa, among others), seeking solutions compatible with national and foreign legislation. He has experience in foreign investment, corporate restructuring and international tax planning, international contracts, expatriates and immigration. He has advised several companies in establishing branches and subsidiaries abroad, as well as in domestic operations abroad and in Brazil.
Flávio is currently Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Brazil – Mozambique (since 2010).
