Anne M. Selin is a senior associate in the Palo Alto office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. She represents clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters before state and federal courts, including antitrust and class action suits. Anne has extensive experience managing cases through all phases of litigation and resolution, from complex discovery to depositions to trial. Anne also has experience conducting internal investigations and interviewing employees in sensitive company matters, with the aim of helping companies to evaluate and enhance their compliance practices. She also has experience representing clients in investigations conducted by the SEC.
Anne also contributes significantly to the firm’s pro bono program. She has represented clients in asylum proceedings and was a member of a trial team that defended a client in a criminal trial in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, during which Anne examined several witnesses.
Anne received a JD with Highest Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2007 where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Anne taught English in several elementary schools located near Bordeaux, France.
Anne joined Mayer Brown in 2007. She is admitted to practice in both Illinois and California.
