Overview

Mark Prinsley’s practice concentrates on technology transactions, in particular IT projects and outsourcing. He leads the technology transactions practice in London.

Mark works principally on the customer side of technology transactions. He works extensively in the financial services and FMCG sectors, helping clients adopt new technologies, move to digital platforms and put in place IT and business process outsourcing arrangements, often in sectors  which are subject specific regulation or industry guidance. The transactions Mark has worked on are frequently multi-jurisdictional including the deployment of cloud based solutions to deliver SAAS, PAAS, IAAS, [X]AAS services involving international transfer of personal data. Business process transactions Mark has worked on include outsourcing of employee benefits, finance and accounting, marketing services and facilities management. 

Mark also works on data protection and cyber matters and software and hardware procurement across a wide range of sectors. Software procurement and development work includes advising on of risks of use of opensource code and the adoption of safe processes for the use of opensource code.
