Lisa Blank is an associate in the New York office of Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Her practice focuses on banking and financial services, particularly cases involving securitization and structured finance, and actions involving allegations of fraud or misrepresentation in the sale of complex financial instruments, such as residential mortgage-backed securities, foreign exchange products and other derivative instruments. Lisa also represents clients in connection with government subpoenas and third-party litigation subpoenas.

Lisa spent six months working at a global bank, focusing on derivative instruments and compliance with CFTC and OCC regulations. Lisa also assisted in NFA reporting and preparing for NFA meetings.

Lisa leads various pro bono projects, including defending indigent parents in family court and creating supplemental needs trusts for low-income elderly, disabled and blind New Yorkers. She was named Mayer Brown 2013 Pro Bono Associate of the Year.

Lisa joined Mayer Brown in 2007.
