Iliana has extensive experience counseling both emerging and well-established sponsor clients on launching and operating a wide variety of domestic and international private funds, including buyout funds, credit funds, real estate funds, natural resources funds, insurance-linked securities funds, co-investment funds, secondary funds and funds of funds.  In addition, she counsels sponsor clients on internal compensation, succession planning and other management arrangements.  Her work in the asset management area includes negotiating and structuring adviser-led secondary transactions and strategic investments in, and sales of, asset management businesses.  She also regularly provides fund-related advice in connection with portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
