Overview

Gregory J. Apgar is an Intellectual Property associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office. His practice focuses on patent litigation in federal courts and before the International Trade Commission. Greg has represented clients in matters involving a variety of technologies, including graphics processing, content protection, telecommunications, mobile devices, database searching and marine seismic technology. He also has experience practicing before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and has successfully defended the validity of multiple patents challenged in inter parties review proceedings.

Following law school, Greg served as a law clerk to the Honorable Louis L. Stanton in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
