Erin Lang is counsel in the Real Estate group of Mayer Brown’s Charlotte office. She focuses her practice on real estate financing, warehouse lending, acquisitions and dispositions, development, commercial leasing and debt restructuring. She represents institutional investors, lenders, developers and other corporate entities in the structuring and negotiation of real estate debt finance, including traditional loan products, repurchase facilities, mezzanine debt, subscription lines and loan restructuring. She also represents owners and developers in the acquisition, development, disposition and financing of commercial real estate. Her experience includes the representation of financial institutions and real estate investment trusts in a broad range of loan transactions, including syndicated and participated credit facilities, senior and mezzanine debt, structured finance, construction loans, permanent and bridge financings, and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. She also represents not-for-profit schools and corporations in a variety of debt, corporate governance and risk matters.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Erin served as an assistant general counsel for the Global Corporate Investment Banking and Commercial Real Estate divisions of a large international financial institution.
