Chandra Critchelow is an associate in Mayer Brown's Intellectual Property practice based in the Chicago office. Her practice focuses on pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, biotechnology, and chemical patent matters. She uses a solution-based approach to handle a variety of matters including IP litigation, patent life cycle management, and transactions and diligence for US and multinational corporations. Representative matters include obtaining a motion to transfer venue in a patent infringement case out of the Eastern District of Texas for a global manufacturer of medical devices and products, and obtaining the ceiling value for a client in a pharmaceutical patent license dispute over royalties.

Her diverse experiences in engineering, molecular biophysics, and biochemistry give her unique insight and understanding of scientific and technical issues that intersect with legal issues. Accordingly, her work ranges from disputes stemming from technology related to the processing of chicken carcasses, to strategizing patent portfolios to protect against a biosimilar landscape, to wireless technology disputes.

Chandra is also an Adjunct Professor at The John Marshall Law School.
