Overview

Amita Haylock helps clients to address all aspects of IP , competition, and public law – encompassing licensing, advisory, litigation, and arbitration -- across a broad range of industries, including the Technology Media & Telecommunications sector. 

She has experience representing applicants and respondents in high-profile judicial reviews involving various complex issues.  Amita is fluent in English, Malay, Hindi, Punjabi, and Bahasa Indonesia.

 

Experience

  • Assisted with extensive IP due diligence (including various patents) and an IP Opinion for a company applying to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. We also assisted with replying to queries raised by the Stock Exchange and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

Advised:

  • A Global technology company delivering blockchain-based solutions on the licensing of its blockchain technology into mainland China.
  • A Global technology company on various regulatory and licensing issues concerning the use of its app in the APAC region including new business models, IP licences, competition law and cybersecurity and data privacy issues. 
  • On telecoms regulatory issues.
