Elizabeth Espín Stern's expertise and perspective on immigration issues expanded globally last year when she joined Mayer Brown. Formerly a managing partner at Baker & McKenzie, Stern handles increasingly complex issues in the expanding global environment for companies including American Express Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp. The daughter of an Ecuadorian diplomat, Stern developed a "global people solution" at Mayer Brown, a compliance and risk program for companies that need to move their professionals around the world. She is a member of the National Women's Law Center and the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession.
