“The energy industry is undergoing a rapid transformation. It faces rising challenges in relation to technology, climate change, the economy, regulation and the environment,” said Elaine Lo, Asia Chair and Senior Partner of Mayer Brown JSM. “To gain a sustainable competitive edge in the market, we must understand the rapidly-changing business environment and be able to provide commercial legal solutions to our clients. We are delighted to have Jack joining us. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors which will no doubt benefit our clients.”
Marc Folladori and Robert Hamill, Co-heads of Mayer Brown's Global Energy Practice Group added, “Jack will be a key addition to our energy team. He has the experience in and knowledge of the Asian energy market to augment our strong capabilities there. Jack will be another solid advisor in our group for our many US and European energy clients interested in growth in Asia.”
Mr. Su looks forward to his new role at Mayer Brown JSM.
“Mayer Brown JSM is reputable for its strong client base in Asia and more recently, the expanded global network after its combination with Mayer Brown,” he said. “I look forward to working with the team in Asia as well as other Mayer Brown offices in the United States and Europe.”
