Teresa A. Beaudet, a Litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Mayer Brown LLP, has been appointed a judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Ms. Beaudet joined Mayer Brown in 1988 as an associate and was named a partner in 1990. She is a general business litigator with significant experience in both federal and state court disputes involving employment issues, unfair business practices, real estate and environmental issues. She routinely represented clients in trials (including class actions and multi-district litigation,) in the appellate courts, and in administrative hearings, arbitrations and mediations. She was admitted to the California bar in 1980 and also is admitted in the United States District Courts for all California districts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Beaudet received a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in 1980 and Masters and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Loyola Marymount University.
