Mayer Brown JSM strengthens Global Trade capability with new hire

16 February 2012, Hong Kong – Mayer Brown JSM is pleased to announce that Jin Ma has joined its Beijing office as a Senior Associate to bolster the firm's Global Trade practice.

Jin joins Mayer Brown JSM from Winston & Strawn LLP. He has extensive experience in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, related US court litigation, and disputes at the WTO. He has also assisted clients in corporate matters involving foreign direct investment in China, competition policy, export control, FCPA and arbitration.

His experience and knowledge in international trade will no doubt reinforce the cross-jurisdictional capability of our global team and allow us to better service Asian clients in their outbound trade disputes," said Matthew McConkey, Partner of Mayer Brown LLP and manager of the firm's Global Trade practice in Asia.

Jin is admitted in New York and District of Columbia. He graduated with a JD from University of Nebraska College of Law and an LLM in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School.
