Mayer Brown Announces the Sale of its UK Corporate Secretarial Practice

4 October 2010 - Leading international law firm Mayer Brown today announces the sale of its UK corporate secretarial practice to the TMF Group, a leading global independent provider of corporate administrative outsourcing solutions. The acquisition of the practice makes TMF the UK market leader of Corporate secretarial services having previously consolidated the practices of EY and Clifford Chance.

Jarrod Simpson, global head of TMF Legal and Administrative services said: “this platform will enable the continued growth of both the UK and global practice and ensure our clients have unrivalled access to the best in class both locally and globally through TMF’s global network of wholly owned offices in 67 countries.”

Commenting on her move to TMF, Susan Fadil, head of Company Secretarial at Mayer Brown International LLP said: “I am excited by and look forward to the move to TMF and the opportunities that it will provide in offering a global corporate secretarial service to clients and further welcome the ability to maintain and develop the international corporate secretarial capability of Mayer Brown on a worldwide platform”.
