Mayer Brown advises Fujitsu Limited on its €450 million acquisition of Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ shares

18 November 2008 – Leading international law firm Mayer Brown has advised Fujitsu Limited on its acquisition of Siemens AG's 50% shareholding in their joint venture Fujitsu Siemens Computers in a deal worth approximately €450 million.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers was formed in 1999 as a 50-50 Dutch based joint venture. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, it has since established a leading position in the EMEA market in the server, PC, and data storage fields.
With approximately 160,000 employees supporting customers in 70 countries, Nikkei 225 listed Fujitsu is a leading provider of IT-based business solutions around the world.
