Brian Aronson Rejoins Mayer Brown's Los Angeles Office to head up the Real Estate Practice

LOS ANGELES, September 4, 2007 - Mayer Brown today announced that Brian Aronson has rejoined the firm as the head of the Los Angeles Real Estate practice. Mr. Aronson, 40, brings more than 15 years of experience back to the firm where he was originally employed from 1996 to 2005.

"With an impressive track record representing a large number of major clients, he will play an important role in the further expansion of the practice both in Southern California and globally."
Mr. Aronson spent the last two years as a partner at Holland & Knight where he advised real estate investment trusts (REITS), pension funds and their advisors, life insurance companies and commercial lenders on a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and commercial loan transactions. Most recently, Mr. Aronson's representations include a joint venture between a national real estate investment/development company and a real estate investment advisor in connection with the acquisition of a portfolio of office and retail buildings in Southern California. In addition, he has represented clients in connection with the acquisition and disposition of a number of high profile office buildings and commercial projects throughout the United States.

Also joining Mayer Brown is Tricia Greenlee. Ms. Greenlee received her B.A., cum laude, in history from Loyola Marymount University in 1994 and received her J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1994. Ms. Greenlee joins as an associate.
Mr. Aronson received his B.A., cum laude, from The American University in 1988. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1991.
