Mayer Brown LLP is strengthening its Corporate and M&A group: Ralf M. Schnaittacher has been a partner in the international law firm's Cologne office since the beginning of February. Associate Stefan Westerheide joined Mayer Brown with him.

Ralf Schnaittacher specializes in corporate law. He mainly advises German and international clients in transactions including joint ventures and outsourcing, as well as in reorganization and restructuring projects. He has a wealth of experience in consumer goods transactions, primarily in the food and beverage industry and in the domains of IT and telecommunications. Before joining Mayer Brown, Ralf Schnaittacher was employed as counsel at Linklaters in Cologne/Düsseldorf.

"I am pleased that in Ralf Schnaittacher we have gained yet another accomplished transaction attorney for our German practice," said Dr. Jörg Wulfken, Managing Partner of Mayer Brown's German offices. "Strengthening the Corporate group is also an expression of the firm's growth, which we intend to drive forward further this year."

"Ralf Schnaittacher will make the German Corporate group stronger particularly with his experience in the area of M&A/consumer goods," added Christof Gaudig, co-head of the German Corporate group and head of Mayer Brown's Cologne office. "We look forward to further expanding the transaction business, for example in the food processing industry, with him and our other experts." "Mayer Brown is compelling thanks to its refined strategy and an impressive verve in implementing it and in performing client work," said Ralf Schnaittacher. "The decision to come to Mayer Brown was an easy one for me."
