28 January 2010 – Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, announced that Chicago Corporate & Securities partner Richard W. Shepro has been named a “Client Service All Star” by BTI Consulting.  He is one of 18 securities lawyers listed and one of 15 lawyers to be honored for a second consecutive year.  The 2010 BTI list includes 165 US lawyers across all practice areas.

Client Service All-Stars were determined by the responses of 240 corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies and other large organizations.  Commenting on Mr. Shepro, BTI said he “continues to provide clients with a high level of focus” and quoted the General Counsel of a Fortune 1000 company who lauded his “forward-thinking, responsiveness, creativity and attention to detail that make his service so good.”

Mr. Shepro’s practice emphasizes sophisticated international and domestic business issues, advice to financial institutions and solutions to complex and novel problems.
