Competition Damages: no discretionary extension of time for follow-on claims

The recent decision by the Court of Appeal that the Competition Appeal Tribunal does not have power to extend the two-year limitation period for “follow-on” private damages claims in competition cases offers welcome clarification for all parties in such claims.
