Mayer Brown announced that New York-based counsel Monique Mulcare has been selected for membership into The National Black Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers for 2016, an invitation-only professional honorary organization comprised of America’s top attorneys who represent individuals, families and business in the American legal system. A counsel in Mayer Brown’s Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Insolvency practice, Ms. Mulcare focuses on advising secured lenders, investment banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds and other financial institution creditors in connection with the purchase, recovery and sale of US and international distressed assets and loan portfolios. She has significant experience representing creditors in both in-court bankruptcies and insolvencies and out-of-court restructurings and workouts. Ms. Mulcare is a member of the Legal Advisory and Trade Practices and Forms Committee of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association and serves as associate editor of American Bankruptcy Institute Journal.
