London — Mayer Brown was recognised for Human Resources Innovation at the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2016, held in London on May 27.
The accolade was given to Mayer Brown in recognition of the firm's global direct sourcing strategy for new talent, which has improved brand awareness, increased internal referrals and reduced external recruitment costs.
Mayer Brown's legal apprenticeship scheme in London was highly commended in the Diversity Innovation category. The firm became the first international law firm to offer a vocational scheme leading to direct qualification as a solicitor when it launched the scheme in September 2015.
