Mayer Brown partners Rajesh De and Marcus Christian named to Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 30”

Mayer Brown announced that Washington DC partners Rajesh De and Marcus Christian have been selected to Cybersecurity Docket’s inaugural “Incident Response 30,” a list recognizing 30 of the “best and brightest Incident Response attorneys and compliance professionals in the industry.” The publication noted that those recognized are the “kind of professionals critical to have on speed-dial when the inevitable data breach occurs.”

Mr. De leads Mayer Brown’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice. He has served the US government in a series of notable positions. Most recently, he served as General Counsel at the United States National Security Agency (NSA), a role in which he ensured intelligence and military agencies had the necessary legal tools to deal with cyber threats. Mr. De also was a partner with Mayer Brown before joining the NSA.

Mr. Christian is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice and White Collar Defense & Compliance group. Before joining the firm, he served as the Executive Assistant United States Attorney at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Christian’s responsibilities included data security, critical incident response, and investigations and prosecutions of offenses involving data breaches, identity theft, and transnational criminal organizations, among others.
