Kaile Yang

Kaile Yang is a senior associate in the Corporate & Securities practice in Mayer Brown's Hong Kong office.

Kaile has extensive experience in advising on the formation and maintenance of various types of private investment funds, as well as the governance and regulatory aspects of such funds.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Kaile worked in both onshore and offshore international law firms. During her time there, she advised on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions with a focus on Greater China and the Asia Pacific region. She also negotiated, drafted and advised on a number of joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements and business transfer agreements as well as all matters of corporate and commercial law.

Kaile is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University College London and a Juris Doctor and PCLL degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

She speaks fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
